Trip to Thailand & Bangkok

So it seems that an article called my trip to Thailand (yes, I assure you) … So I am coupling because it is true that it was still as unforgettable experience! As against what is unforgettable is much less the names of cities and regions, that I admit that I find difficult to remember me and especially not to confuse them!

I’ll try to make a quick overview for the moment and if you’re interested (?) I’ll do some research to get more details next time.

So that summer, with my parents Insists globe trotters and their friends, we decided to go to Thailand (they finally decided, and I contented myself shouting “yeah yeah yeah!” With enthusiasm).

As it was a bit hard to go up there with our motorhome in 1981, felt that not too many camps, but we wanted to not fall into the tour with 50 as tourists, we finally managed to find a nice compromise the tour minibus with not many tourists. It was already 5 and we shared our minibus, our driver and our guide with a girl and her daughter but no one knew who have been very nice.

Bangkok visit: Modernity and Temples hyperstyles

In all we left 3 weeks, roughly two-week tour and then 1 week extension in the islands. It is first arrived in Bangkok, it’s been a shock because at once is a big city, so there are a lot of modernity, the skyscraper, shopping malls full of cars (and more on really rolls like crazy mad there!) … and in the middle of all this there are beautiful temples super, super stylish, with beautiful statues full of colors and gilding, finally sets dépaysants super! So it’s a bit of a mess, and the next big city is really impressive.

Thereafter it was able to discover more tips and more relaxing scenery. The most “exotic” because I think the visit to the mountain tribes, particularly women who have giraffe-neck decorated with dozens of golden rings that elongate their necks … Although the floating markets were not bad either: a multitude small boats that vendors use to store their goods and move client customer, all on the water of course! It was other good stuff, as the ride Elephant: very original for a European tourist, although sometimes flippant (faut faire gaffe not to take the branches in the eye).

Then in our small week “solo” we went a bit over the islands, because it was not foreseen in the original circuit but we did not want to miss this … And it was well done, it was super nice! It is particularly gone on the island or has been shot the film “The Page” … Sable clear Wednesday paradise, palm trees, fish … In the ideal type has rarely been better! It was a lot of boat trips to see the beautiful landscapes and also visit the homes of sea gypsies, who make kind of floating homes and are living permanently in the water.
